General Dentistry

Frisco Family DentistryTo keep your teeth healthy throughout your lifetime, your teeth need regular and proper care, which comes in the form of brushing your teeth regularly, flossing, and visiting your dentist regularly. Regular visits typically consist of a teeth cleaning, X-rays to double-check for cavities, a screening for oral cancer, a periodontal exam (an assessment of your gums), and an overall evaluation of your bite and dental health. All of this is important for not only establishing early treatment for dental problems, such as cavities and periodontal disease, but also for preventing any potential health risks. Such prevention may include fluoride treatments or sealants, which are barriers placed on your molars to prevent plaque build-up and tooth decay. If Dr. Neal finds any problems that need attention, such as dental fillings, dental crowns, or root canals, he and his staff will suggest the best treatment plan for you on the spot and help set you back on the path for a healthy mouth.

Family Dentistry

Dr. Robert A. Neal provides dental care for the whole family, no matter your age, which does include children. In fact, Dr. Neal sees children as young as two for their general dentistry needs. The office staff is very patient with small children, and they do their best to make the experience as comfortable as possible and try to cut down on the common fear and anxiety with dentists as early as possible. This is one reason why Dr. Neal encourages parents to bring in their children between the ages of 2-3 in addition to kick-starting healthy dental habits early. His other reason is that he loves to watch his children patients "grow-up" with him and his dental care. One of his favorite aspects of his family practice is to treat the entire family throughout all the stages of their lives.
